So great to breath in Cape Town air. Fresh from the sea. Something just happens to you when you are at the place where you were born. Had a free day and visited Cape Town with the family.

I seem not to get away from the Portuguese influence. Visited a ship that anchored in Cape Town harbour from Portugal. The NRP Sagres was built in 1937 in Hamburg. The German navy used it, the USA captured the boat – donated it to Brazil after the 2nd world war and Portugal bought it back from Brazil. It is currently being used to train navy soldiers from Portugal.

Had a great time sharing our stories in Cape Town. Met with interesting ….. and I mean very interesting young people ….. but more about that in my next (on-the-run) posting. Bless ya all!
