Orphans are a real fact in Mozambique. We have an unique program where we adopt orphans but place them in safe families. We choose christian widows and place babies with them. We provide baby milk, other food, clothing, medical care, schooling and personal mentoring to all our orphans. Our latest addition is a baby called “Alan” – named after an English couple, Alan & Barbara Rainford who is helping the mission to take care of orphans. This orphan lost its mom due to aids and the grandmother arrived with the baby. Malnutrition is a big problem with a lot of the orphans that arrives on the mission base. Thanks to all of you it is possible to care and even save the lives of many children.

We currently have: 30 orphans – locally in our area
120 orphans – northern Mozambique

These 120 orphans are being taken care of by our many leadership schools and churches in the northern parts of Mozambique next to the Zambezi river. On the photo Alta Rauch is handing over baby milk to our grandmother and foster mom for Alan.
